An Important Message About Live Love Northwest
Dear Friends and Supporters,
Since our founding in 2018, Live Love Northwest (LLNW) has been committed to serving the most vulnerable and needy children and families in the Portland metro and Vancouver region. Together, we have served tens of thousands of individuals, building strong partnerships and making a lasting impact in our communities. It has been an incredible journey, and we are profoundly grateful for your support and dedication to our mission.
After much reflection and prayer, the board of LLNW has decided to dissolve the nonprofit. We recognize that a key fiscal goal of LLNW — to serve as a vehicle for corporations and supporters to get involved without giving directly to Mannahouse Church — is no longer essential. As LLNW was originally created by Mannahouse Church to broaden support for its faith-based community outreach, we now believe the resources previously used to maintain LLNW are better directed toward the programs themselves and the people they serve.
Mannahouse Church has faithfully operated these programs since their inception, including our annual flagship event, Live Love Christmas, which will continue to bless families during the holiday season. Mannahouse, with its long history of serving the Pacific Northwest since 1951, will continue these efforts with additional backing from Convoy of Hope and local agency partners.
The dissolution of LLNW will occur in phases beginning in November 2024 and is expected to be finalized by early Q1 2025. We encourage your ongoing support to be directed to Mannahouse Church to ensure these programs remain strong and impactful. You can contribute directly at mannahouse.church/give.
Thank you for being a vital part of this journey. We celebrate the legacy of LLNW and look forward with total faith in what God will continue to do through Mannahouse Church and the dedicated partners who share our heart for serving others. Together, we are making a difference by sharing Jesus’ love to those in need.
With gratitude and faith,
Derrill Corbin
