Caring For Our Local Community
LLNW helps support the education of underserved youth in the city as well as providing rest stop areas for our local law enforcement.
Education Support for Underserved Youth & a Place to Rest for Law Enforcement
LLNW partners with (SEI) to guide underserved youth to realize their full potential. SEI provides support, guidance, and opportunities to achieve personal and academic success.
We also provide Rest Stops for our local law enforcement. Rest Stops are simply an intentional effort to care for officers who protect and serve our community. These efforts are made tangible in providing a safe space for officers to use the restroom, eat, work on paperwork, meet or simply take a much-needed break. In addition to a secure location, Wi-Fi, coffee, drinks, grab and go food, and cable are added value.
On a 10.5 hour shift, 5 days a week answering calls from violent domestic disputes to sad death investigations it’s absolutely amazing what escaping to our safe haven does to our hearts and minds. When my fellow officers and I do meet people as we are coming and going to our “rest stop” they are positive smiling people who sometimes ask us how they can pray for us. You have no idea how many of us have been touched by your people being kind to us when we are feeling down due to mean people out in this world. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
