What We Do
Our desire is to connect broken people to a community of support by offering free resources and services that address immediate and long-term needs. LLNW serves as a resource focused on finding solutions in areas such as homelessness, hunger, foster care, and sex trafficking through individualized and community outreach programs.
Areas We Serve
Children and youth in foster care have often survived a lifetime of uncertainty and change that has resulted in adversity and trauma. LLNW has worked to serve these families and children to help overcome obstacles and enabled them to thrive through various initiatives.
Food & Basics
Through our partnership and donations, we provide food, clothing, and needed items for foster families and people experiencing homelessness or hardship. Over 1000 pounds of food is distributed weekly to the Portland Metro area alone.
Each Christmas, many families in our community go without presents for their children. We partner with 20 public schools and 3 DHS offices across the Portland/Vancouver metro area to provide gifts for some of the neediest families in our region.
Our goal with survivor support ministry is to love, support and provide women coming out of sex trafficking with basic essentials to help them in the pursuit of rebuilding their lives from the ground up.
LLNW helps support the education of underserved youth in the city as well as providing rest stop areas for our local law enforcement.
