At Live Love Northwest, we have been very busy with some amazing work that came about because of some amazing blessings. The Lord has been good to us over the last year. We are so grateful to our generous donors who make these works possible!
During COVID (March – August): In partnership with Pacific Coast Fruit Company/USDA, and powered by Mannahouse, significantly increased food distribution to give away 10,820 boxes/270,000 lbs of food in Portland, Vancouver and Eugene – that equates to almost 21,000 pounds per week.
Thanks to the generosity of the United Breast Cancer Foundation and many donors to our Miracle Miles Campaign, for our cost of $15K, Live Love Northwest was able to receive two 53ft trailer trucks full of new goods for distribution into the Portland/Vancouver community with a value of well over $2.3 million. One truck was full of items for helping women feel good about themselves, including name brand makeup, skin care, hair care, clothing and shoes. The second truck was filled with household goods including bed linens, small kitchen appliances, electronics, home décor, and tools. Held at Mannahouse Rocky Butte campus, Mannahouse volunteers were able to bless over 1000+ foster families and survivors of human trafficking.

Give More 24! – Tomorrow – September 24th
This is an annual event sponsored by Community Foundation SW Washington where non-profits like LLNW can have our giving dollars multiplied by sponsors. Donors like you can sponsor a dollar match, or donors can participate in a match, and there are existing sponsors who will multiply the non-profits’ donations during specific times of the day. Giving Tuesday: December 1st 2020
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world.
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
Live Love Christmas: Planned for December 19th
Live Love Christmas is our annual “signature” event where, with our partner Mannahouse, we create a “shopping event” for families that are underserved in our communities. Families are nominated by school districts, and at the Mannahouse Campuses, parents come and “shop” for gifts for their children, ages 0-18. They are assigned a personal shopper, they get the gifts wrapped, they are treated to a meal and offered prayers. While we are not sure what this will look like this year with COVID restrictions, plans for the event are still moving ahead.
